I’m supporting these Swiss kids who created a splendid video. Only a few views, so support them a wee bit too!

Well go on, guess!
Of course, it’s your beloved Muffin – me. And I’m very glad to be back! Ski camp did not live up to my expectations. At first the snowboarding was highly enjoyable, but it sank incredibly fast to a notorious low. The food was not really my taste, the people were rather bitchy (I didn’t really expect anything else other than bitchy) and the sleep was always horrendous. Each and every morning I would wake up with my spine stinging and screaming. One night I even used three mattresses, yet the pain would just not cease.
But enough with the complaining – for now. There were some funny situations I do not regret to have found myself in. For example, the night my three pals and I snuck out of camp in order to buy some pizza. Oh, ‘t was fun! And we weren’t caught, which is incredibly amazing, for I was really quite suspicious. I ran into the shoe shelf on my way out, and I also forgot to close the door. Who cares, we got away with it! So no complaints there!
All in all, the camp was really not that special. There were several injuries. One cut their leg and had to be operated (on the first day, mind), the other broke their nose, another few broke their fingers and their wrist…highly laughable, no? I wonder why no one has complained yet!
That’s enough from ski camp today. Toodles, my pickle-pies!
Alas, I stroke the flesh-ridden skull that laughs in my palm before me, and I ask the ultimate question…to be…or not to be? That is not the question.
Instead I ask myself this: WHO’S THE MORON HERE!? Those with substance or those without? I’ll start at the beginning…
It’s our last day before the Winter holidays, so our class decides to watch a film this morning, under the condition (set by my teacher) that the film has something to do with our subject in History, which is World War II. I delicately suggest “Schindler’s List”, which in my opinion is one of the greatest films of all time. The majority of the class agrees and I set off to rent Schindler’s List. The video shop doesn’t have it any more. Bastards. So I pick “The Pianist” instead.
We watch the film. Some are shocked, some are moved, some are entertained, some are even amused. But most of the class enjoyed the film and say they’ve learnt something. Most agree, without say, on it being a sad, depressive and important film. BUT, some pricks have the nerve to come up to me after the film and drone on about the film being boring. I, of course, am angered by this. I, of course, lash out and accuse the two morons of lacking substance, taste and brains. They’d rather watch “Pearl Harbour” (starring that incompetent fool Ben Affleck who couldn’t act to save his dick from shrinking) because of the bombs and explosions! How stupid can you get!?
Now, in my opinion, “The Pianist” is not as good as “Schindler’s List”. But it’s a very good film and it deserved those Oscar wins&nominations. It was realistic, featuring superb acting and golden artistic quality. And it’s a bloody shame that the idiots of this world must try to damage that.
Ok, I’m ending my rant here. I hope you readers were able to decipher everything. I’m talking hyper-over-reactive-fury speech at the moment.
With toodles,
Indie Muffin
This blog was meant to be a happy site, but I’m afraid I must weigh it down with some very sad news.
The young and talented actor Heath Ledger died last night after an accidental/suicidal drug overdose. The exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Heath left behind his 2-year-old daughter, Matilda. I wish her all the best, the rest of the family has my condolences also.
I found it difficult to accept the fact he’s gone. I can’t imagine what it’s like for the people who actually knew him. It’s a bloody tragedy. Truly devastating, but life’s life. I just hope Heath didn’t commit suicide. I just want to believe he died happy. Everyone deserves to die happy.
I wish you all a lovely day, however hard this may be to accept. Toodles, my friends and fiends.
It’s another day at The Burning Tree and I find myself almost falling asleep. Why? I think it’s because some knob drugged me with a whole jug of sleeping pills. That’s what it feels like anyway.
Back to subject: I need your help again readers. My sole intention this evening is to promote these young and talented…people. So accept or die!

This man is a one-fun-show. He is the ultimate comedic genius equipped with iron wit, burning sarcasm and stingy satire. Be sure to check out Doctor Rusty Wigwam or he’ll spit on you with a mixture of saliva and churned cat’s insides.
MagicalFlame
I call him an up-and-coming whatever. Not ready to be defined, not allowed to be bound in chains, not prepared for the many spotlights I hope will burn him. Not literally.
This 19-year-old “Phil”, a student of the United Kingdom, is thoroughly talented and well put up for a challenge. He very much deserves any recognition granted!

I find it hard to put their talent into words, but I guess you could call them indescribable, however unspecific that may sound. Speaking of sound, listen to theirs! It’s an original piece of music, which was very well (and damn near professionally) executed. Listen to the sound of music, my friends. Listen.

Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear.
I could guffaw a thousand times, nevertheless I would never be able to express my feelings enough. Now, here’s a tricky question: Who’s the lucky one?
Caption this!
Tomorrow I start my last week before the Sport Holidays. You may not be familiar with these. Anyhoo, in the first week of the Sport Holidays, I shall be gone with my school. We’ll be somewhere up in the mountains, taking care of an old hotel during the winter…sounds familiar?
Joking! I’ll be off in Snow-Sport Camp, riding my snowboarding, losing all my hair due to stress and feeling very cramped thanks to all those annoying teachers and students. I can’t wait(!)
Snowboarding is highly enjoyable, but pleaaase! All that stress! Gosh my golly!
So, I won’t be here for a week and the blog will be left unattended. So starting tomorrow, I will post at least one post a day. That way, the blog won’t be too…actually that idea is utter shite. What am I thinking? Who cares, I’ll go ahead with it anyway!
I’m hungry. Need double chocolate chunk cookies. Now. Toodles, readers!
The internet and music, what a wonderful combination.
There is no need for many words, just use your ears and listen. I will add a short comment to each featured YouTubian Musician plus two videos. One cover video and one original, but in some cases there are no originals so I’ll just post two covers. Offer your support!

I discovered this fellow whilst looking for some good ol’ Jam covers. Very energetic performance, I love it. His original song is pretty good, he certainly deserves more recognition.
johnnyonline
I love Johnny! He really is very good. With two extremely good original songs, I found it very hard to choose just one. But because “Love Two Point Oh” has enough attention, I think you guys need to focus on “In My Car”. Brilliant song, just shut up and listen.
ortoPilot
This guy has enough spotlights chasing him around, but he has more than enough talent. I’ll make it short: Perfect covers. Not a bad original too. *wink wink*
thebrooke
No originals as of recent (according to her blog, she’s still working on it), but the talent is still fresh. Hauntingly beautiful voice and mildly energetic performances (mild as in not dull but not exactly hyperactive) are her well-earned trademarks. Check her blog for updates!

Last but not least, we have the guy with the wonderful voice.
And just for excellent measure, here’s another cover by ‘im.
